I was given this short story by the author in exchange for my honest review.I'm not really sure what I expected the short tale to be about, but once in read the first paragraph, I knew I liked it enough to see where it ended up. The imagery is so well described that I could picture the wheat fields and the dust, and felt how hot the sun was while Jerrell rode his bike. The concept of it being the end of the world and he's coming to terms with it the best way he knows how, is how I interpreted it. I sincerely hope that at some point, the author decides to elaborate on what happened and about the angels....I really liked it.
